Abstract
1342782 Powder developing XEROX CORP 19 April 1971 [28 Jan 1970] 20406/71 Heading G2H A latent image bearing web 17 passes through a developer housing 22 and then past a vertical partition 24; developer being frictionally carried to the top of the partition and spilling over to return to the housing. This improves developer mixing. Preferably a hopper 29 adds fresh developer to that returning to the housing. Web 17 may be photo-conductively coated brass or nickel.
