Abstract

1340447 Gussetted bags with self-seal adhesive closures; pack of bags C A CHRYSANTHIS 21 March 1972 13185/72 Headings B8K and B8C A side gussetted bag having a self-seal adhesive closure comprises mating marginal portions 7 and 8 which are extensions of the back and front walls of the bag and are coated on their mating surfaces with latex gum 13. The marginal portion 8 is folded to lie against the outer surface of the front wall during storage of the flattened bag. Each bag may include an extension (16, Fig. 6) joined to the top edge of the marginal portions 7 along a line of perforations (17, Fig. 6). A number of these bags is stapled through the extensions (16) to a backing panel (19, Fig. 6) to form a pad of bags.
