Abstract

1339816 Rotary cutters J M MIZZI 19 Nov 1971 53948/71 Heading A4C [Also in Divisions A1 and B2] A chopping unit in a sugar cane harvester (see Division A1) is fed by rollers 42 & 43 and comprises radially adjustable blades 51 on rotor 46 co-operating with slots 55 on rotor 47. The cut crop is discharged on to cleaning drums 59 by feeder vanes 57, on the lower rotor 47, which may be serrated.
