Abstract

1339015 Illuminated signs HAWESIGNS Ltd 16 June 1971 [16 June 1970] 29183/70 Heading G5C A display device has a front frame 11, e.g. of steel, hinged along one edge to the back 10, 10a, 10b and holding a front transparent panel 18, e.g. of a clear acrylic substance. Attached to the back by "stand-off" brackets 13 is a lining 12, e.g. of plastics, which supports drop-in slide card holders 20, in which display cards are carried. The sign is illuminated by fluorescent lamps T, via diffuser 17 and panels 16. In front of each lamp is a fret-cut black acrylic panel backed with red, which forms an additional display. Added display material may be provided by a panel 21.
