1470781 Illuminated signs ACME SIGNS & DISPLAYS Ltd 28 Oct 1974 [30 Nov 1973] 55646/73 Heading G5C An illuminated sign has a housing 1 with metal strips 15, 16 extending forwardly from side walls 4, 5 and bearing clips 17 to engage and hold a poster 18 stretched between walls 4, 5 in front of a light source 7. A front panel is fitted over the front of housing 1 and includes a concave transparent or translucent plastics panel 21 whose rear, convex, face presses firmly against poster 18. Outer frame 20 of the front panel hooks over a lipped portion 10 of housing 1 and a depending flange 23 is secured to lower flange 14 of the housing by quick release means.
