1337327 Marine propulsion unit E A W HORNETT 5 May 1972 [2 June 1971] 18633/71 Heading B7V A marine propulsion unit comprises an arm 6 which, adjacent one of its ends, has a drive member 10 coupled to drive shaft 3 of motor 2 mounted inboard of the boat. Adjacent its other end the arm has a propeller shaft 19 on which propeller 20 is mounted. The arm 6 is pivotally mounted so that the propeller shaft is movable in an arc about the axis of the drive shaft 3 and the propeller is driven by chains or belts 12 and 16.
