Abstract

1335917 Printing rollers ERNST REINER KG FEINMECHANIK UND APPARATEBAU 19 April 1971 [11 Feb 1970] 21499/71 Heading B6C A printing roller comprises an axle mounting a series of type wheels 1 and each wheel is locked relative to the axle by spring-loaded detent members 3 which are held in locking engagement with recesses 1<SP>1</SP> formed in annular inner surfaces of the wheels by a catch member 5 which, after alignment of wheels on the axle is forced longitudinally into an axle recess 6 until it locks in the position shown in Fig. 1. Each detent member 3 is slidable within a bore in the axle and, if required, the member may take the shape of a spring-urged ball.
