C. engine fuel injection nozzle opened by the fuel pressure comprises a bush 2 disposed within an outer part 1 and having an internal guide surface 9 for guiding a nozzle needle 10, the bush being so mounted in the outer part 1 by means of a flange 6 on the bush that a clearance 11 on all sides is provided between the bush and the outer part. The flange 6 is secured in the outer part 1 by screwing, pressing, shrinking or gluing and by means of one or more pins 7. The fuel passes to a nozzle chamber 14 via slots 13 and the clearance 11. One or more further slots or bores 8 receive locking pins for a nozzle holder. An annular recess 12 extends over at least the extent of the flange 6.
