1333123 Photographic silver halide emulsion layers AGFA-GEVAERT A G 10 Nov 1971 [14 Nov 1970] 52143/71 Heading G2C Photographic silver halide emulsion layers are made by mixing a silver halide gelatine emulsion with cellulose acetate having an acetyl group content of from 29 to 36% by weight in the presence of 10 to 50% by weight, based on the total binder mixture, of a stabilizer which is an aliphatic carboxylic acid of up to 8 carbon atoms or a carboxylic acid of the benzene series, coating the mixture on a support and drying. Acids specified are acetic acid, maleic acid, salicylic acid and phthalic acid.
