Abstract

1332767 Hot gas engines UNITED STERLING (SWEDEN) AB & CO KB 5 May 1972 20986/72 Heading F1S A device for governing the temperature of a heater head of a hot gas engine 1 comprises a temperature responsive element 4 giving signals in accordance with the temperature of the heater head, a device 5 governed by the signals and connected to regulating means 7 connected to a combustion air blower 9 and governing the rate of delivery of combustion air from the blower and means 11 responsive to the rate of flow of combustion air from the blower connected to a fuel control valve 13 for regulating the flow of fuel for combustion with the air delivered by the blower. The means 11 responsive to the rate of flow of combustion air comprises a vane arranged in the delivery duct of the blower and connected to the fuel control valve 13 by a lever 12. As shown the blower is driven by the engine and the regulating means 7 is a valve in the blower intake.
