Abstract

1331240 Piston type dispensers ZYMA SA 29 Dec 1970 [29 Dec 1969] 61615/70 Heading F1R A dispenser for liquid soap comprises a body 6 holding a cartridge of liquid soap 7, a piston 14, and a lever 18 pivoted axially on a crown 9 cooperating with means 4, for moving the piston along axis x-x as the lever is rotated about it. Lever 18 is shaped so that, on pivoting about axle 19, it clamps piston 14 against a crown 9 and subsequent movement about axis xx rotates the two together. Crown 9 has diametrically opposed protuberances 10 which co-operate with recesses 11 in support ring 4 so that the crown and piston move axially as they rotate. Crown 9 is biased to return to its original position by springs 13. The body 6 has a removable base 8 which may be provided with a metering valve or the cartridge may include a metering valve 21. Piston 14 is hollow with a cover 15 so that it may hold a cartridge 7'. In another embodiment lever 18 is operated through a Bowden cable by a foot pedal.
