Abstract
1284209 Valves GUSTAV F GERDTS KG 19 April 1971 [30 May 1970] 26204/71 Heading F2V [Also in Division G1] A temperature responsive device comprises a piston 3 which is prevented from axial movement and which extends into an axially movable cylinder 9, the cylinder containing a heat-expansible substance 1 and being formed of two relatively movable parts-one part 9 being acted upon by a spring 8 and the other part 10 forming a valve shut-off member 4. The member 4 may cooperate with a valve seat 5 and the two parts of the cylinder may be limited in their relative movement by a cap 11 which is screwthreaded on to the part 9 and provided with a central aperture 12 in which the other part 10 is slidable.
