Abstract

1331102 Rollers; ball bearings SKFKUGELLAGERFABRIKEN GmbH 22 Dec 1970 [15 April 1970] 60867/70 Headings F2A and F2U A yarn guide roller assembly (e.g. in a draw twister or a draw winding frame) comprises an annular series of bearing elements 14 between an outer race 10 and an inner race 12 which extends from a first end of the race 10, the other end of which is closed by a plug 22 (e.g. of plastics) engaging the race 10 and a sleeve 32 mounted on the race 10 and having at one end an annular flange 34 extending with a radial component. The plug 22 may have a position 38 for the insertion of lubricant. There may be parts 18, 20 fixed to the races 18 and 10 respectively to reduce the ingress of dirt to the bearings.
