Abstract
1330924 Cable PIRELLI GENERAL CABLE WORKS Ltd 26 May 1972 [6 July 1971] 31610/71 Heading H1A A low tension A.C. electricity cable comprises four core conductors, for three phase plus neutral/earth circuit application, each insulated with an elastomeric material, such as non- hygroscopic extruded ethylene propylene or cross-linked polyethylene and a layer of metal foil e.g. aluminium enclosing the core, arranged to act as a fault test electrode, and having-below fault current carrying capacity. The layer of metal foil is preferably bonded to an outer plastics sheath of PVC or high density polyethylene.
