Abstract

1329925 Erecting box blanks AKERLUND & RAUSING AB 23 May 1972 [1 June 1971] 24239/72 Heading B5D Tray-like containers are erected by an extractor 12, having suction holes on its surface, which draws the lowermost blank 1-5 from a stack and into a former 10. Hot air jets 13 or gas flames may soften a plastics coating on the blank or tuck-in means 14 may be provided if conventional corner flaps are used. The blanks are supported and located by pillars 9 and holders 8. The means securing the tray corners may be located in the former itself. To remove an erected tray the former can be lowered and compressed air or grippers used to remove the tray. Alternatively, the former 10 may be opened or disposed sufficiently beneath the magazine for the extractor 12 to serve as an ejector. Further details may be as in Specification 1,329,926
