Abstract

1329341 Electro-photography J M E BEAUJEAN 18 May 1971 [19 May 1970] 15561/71 Heading G2H A charge image on an insulative film 4 is developed with a conductive liquid (e.g. water) in contact with a source of constant potential, the conductive liquid image-bearing film being used as a litho plate. The film is in integral or temporary contact with a photo-conductive member 1 having complementary grooved areas 2 and coated areas 3, the coating being of conductive material. The depth of the grooves may be greater than half the thickness of member 1. The conductive areas may be earthed during uniform charging and grounded during and after imagewise exposure.
