1328562 Forms of wood OSTERREICHISCHE DOKA SCHALUNGSUND GERUSTUNGS-TECHNIK GmbH 28 Aug 1970 [29 Aug 1969 12 Jan 1970] 41598/70 Heading B5L [Also in Division E1] A constructional element comprises a pair of laminated wooden major faces 1, 2, rigidly connected together in spaced-apart parallel relationship by elongate spacer means 3 extending all in the same direction relative to the element length. Each of the major faces consists of two glued wooden layers of cut boards 4, 5 the grains 6, 7 of which extend at least substantially at right angles to each other. The layers 4 may be of equal thickness and thinner than the layers 5. Both major faces may be produced by centrally splitting a single 3- layer board. The spacers 3 may be solid or laminated and may be apertured. The spaces between them may be filled with a synthetic foam held in place by sealing strips at the ends of the spacers. The major faces may be coated with synthetic resin.
