1328193 Drawer cabinets F AUSTIN (LEYTON) Ltd 13 March 1972 [12 March 1971] 6670/71 Heading A4B A cabinet comprises a plurality of drawers 4 disposed one above the other in a housing 2 provided at its open front end with a plurality of closure flaps 6 associated one with each drawer 4 and each hinged at its upper edge about a transverse horizontal axis 8, the arrangement being such that on opening a drawer 4, the associated flap 6 is engaged by an arcuate top edge 18 at the front end of the drawer sides 16 and moved to a raised position. The cabinet may be detachably mounted beneath a desk top (Fig.3 not shown). All of the drawers 4 or all of the flaps 6 may be simultaneously locked by a locking bar.
