Abstract

1305483 Drawers INSTRON Ltd 27 Aug 1971 [7 Sept 1970] 42698/70 Heading A4B [Also in Divisions E2 H1] A front panel 15 is attached to a drawer (seen from the inside) for housing electrical equipment, e.g. chassis (27) Fig.2, (not shown), by plates 23. The plates are slidable in slots 21, 22 of flanges 17, 18 of the panel, the flanges being recessed to accomodate front bars 11, 12 of the drawer. The panel is freed by sliding the plates 23 completely from slots 21, 22, finger grips 24 being provided on the plates. The drawer may have more than one panel 15, as shown, and in this instance the plate 23 additionally serve to lock the panels together. Bars 11, 12 are preferably of circular cross-section so that the panel may be hinged about either by freeing the appropriate side of the panel. Bosses 25 having tapped holes are provided on the panel 15 for attaching the electrical equipment by screws 26.
