Abstract
862,335. Drawers; cabinets. MOORE, J. S., and MOORE, E. L. Sept. 15, 1959 [Jan. 1, 1959], No. 61/59. Class 52(1). [Also in Group XXV] In a cabinet in which drawers of different depths are interchangeable, a series of drawer runners 5 are equally spaced along each side wall of the cabinet and slides for engagement with the runners project from the side walls of the drawers so as to prevent the side walls from engaging any runners not used for carrying a drawer. Lintels 9 which prevent removal of the drawers may be detachably secured to angle section corner members 2 by screws 12 engaging any of holes 13. An angle section member 2 may be provided at each corner of the cabinet and at intermediate points in the side walls. The side walls of two adjoining cabinets may be held together by bolts engaging stiffening members and having spacing sleeves (Fig. 5, not shown).
