Abstract

1327080 Buckles CENTER AB 16 Oct 1970 [20 Oct 1969] 49322/70 Heading E2A A buckle for safety belts comprises a plate 10 forming a hook 12 and connectable with a belt strap and to a stationary abutment 13 and having a slide 15 spring biased to a position in which the slide blocks the opening to the hook and is manually displaceable against the spring bias to release the abutment, the slide being operatively connected to a sleeve 27 by a pin 16 on the sleeve passing into slots 17, 18 in the slide and the plate to provide a lost motion connection whereby the slide is movable to releasing position by the sleeve and independently thereof, the sleeve being guided between a pin on either side of the sleeve and mounted on the plate on pin having a roller to provide an anti friction bearing. There may be a slide 15 on each side of the plate 10 and these may be connected to form a single unit.
