1325989 Transistor amplifying circuits LICENTIA PATENT - VERWALTUNGSGmbH 21 July 1972 [29 July 1971] 34163/72 Heading H3T In an amplifying transistor, each electrode lead inculdes an inductance, 5, 6, 7 respectively, the inductances being of similar value and closely coupled one with another. One embodiment comprises a ferrite ring surrounding the three transistor leads (Fig. 4, not shown). The arrangement improves the high frequency response, in particular offsetting the effect of the capacitance 4 between collector and earth, which may be increased in the case of a power transistor by the connection of the collector to the casing. A resistor 8 may be used to clamp the resonance between the capacitor 4 and inductor 5.
