Abstract

1,079,778. Inductors. TELEFUNKEN PATENTVERWERTUNGS G.m.b.H. July 5, 1965 [Aug. 6, 1964], No. 28419/65. Heading H1T. An inductance coil comprises conductor portions a, b, c, d, e, f, adjustably connected by " trombone " sliders B1-B7, and provided with contact blocks A1-A6 each connectible with pins in a busbar S so that parts of the circuit between terminals N, M can be short-circuited as desired in order to reduce the inductance of the coil in steps. In a modification (Fig. 2) the " trombone " sliders are replaced by slidable clamps. The coil may be gold-plated. Some of the conductor portions may be of reduced cross-sectional area.
