Abstract

1325842 Packaging bags PAPER CONVERTING MACHINE CO Inc 24 Jan 1972 3261/72 Heading B8C In a machine for loading bags into cartons, bags are stripped from a suction supply roll by packer fingers 23 and moved sequentially on to a V-shaped support 24 which supports the bags in a partially-folded stack for subsequent advancement by pusher 26, movable through a slot 25, between pivotally connected jaws of a housing 67 which complete the folding. The housing 67 is then rotated through 90 degrees, and a pusher 29 moves down to force the stack out of the housing into a carton 30, and in so doing to fold the stack again parallel to the first fold.
