1325679 Slip couplings PARAGON PLASTICS Ltd 12 Nov 1970 [26 Nov 1969] 57860/69 Heading F2C A slip coupling especially applicable to the closure members of valves and taps consists of a pair of elements 12, 14 with interengaging ratchet teeth, the upper one of which is integral with a resilient dished loading member 24, the rim 26 of which carries a circumferential series of pegs 28 engaging corresponding sockets in a handwheel 32. The resilient member may be of plastics, metal or plastics coated metal.
