Abstract

1325382 Aerials; radio navigation INTERNATIONAL STANDARD ELECTRIC CORP 19 April 1971 [16 Feb 1970] 21554/71 Headings H4A and H4D Outputs A1, A2 fron two non-linear power amplifiers (such as class-C amplifiers) are coupled through respective isolators 3, 4 to the input terminals of a sum/difference network 5. The isolators, which may be ferrite circulators, have output impedances which are substantially equal to each other, and which match the impedances at the inputs of the sum/difference network. Two aerials, or aerial systems, 6, 7, are fed by the outputs from said network, and may be arranged to provide a rotating radio beacon (VOR). Specification 1,254,855 is mentioned.
