1325207 Load handling slings SPANSET INTER AG 22 Oct 1970 [17 June 1970] 50167/70 Heading B8H A sling for connecting a load to a lifting device is in the form of an endless loop consisting of a core, formed by one or more thread bundles 3, and a protective covering formed by a hose or tube having an unbroken seamless wall. One end 7 of the tube or hose is inserted in the other, or, alternatively, the ends may be joined together in abutting relationship. Each thread bundle consists of a thread arranged into a plurality of coils, the ends of the thread preferably being tied together, Fig. 1 (not shown).
