Abstract

1324664 Impact pulverizers PROEKTNY INSTITUT ESTKOLKHOZPROEKT 19 April 1971 [13 March 1970 (2)] 24153/71 Heading B2A A cage-type disintegrator comprises a housing 1 accommodating two contra-rotatable cages 2, 3. The first cage 2 is mounted on a shaft 4 by means of a disc 5, which has a circular row of pins 6 projecting from each side. The pins 6 connect the disc 5 rigidly with two annular discs 7, 8. The second cage 3 is mounted on a shaft 9 by means of a first disc 10 which is rigidly connected to an annular disc 11 via projecting pins 12. The disc 11 is connected to an outer annular disc 13 by means of a single annular connector or connectors 14. The disc 13 is connected to a central annular disc 15 by means of further striking elements in the form of pins 17. The discs 5 and 15 lie in a common plane normal to the axis of rotation of the cages 2, 3. In operation different materials e.g. lime and sand are supplied via pipes 18, 19. The material which is to be ground longer e.g. lime, is fed into the left hand part of the chamber and after grinding it is discharged into the righthand part and mixed with the other material (sand) and ground still further. The mixture is discharged via a pipe 21.
