Abstract
1322300 Aerials TELECOMMUNICATIONS Ltd 27 April 1972 19727/72 Heading H4A In a folded dipole with two closely spaced parallel limbs which are interconnected at their ends, and one only of which is interrupted adjacent its centre to provide feed terminals, a terminal is also provided at the centre of the uninterrupted limb and is directly electrically connected to one of said feed terminals. As shown in Fig. 3, the centre point of the uninterrupted limb D of a folded dipole is bolted at C to a conductive support boom H. One feed terminal is also bolted to the boom at B, and is connected to the outer conductor of a co-axial cable G. An insulating member J is mounted on the boom and the other feed terminal is supported thereon at A, and is connected to the inner conductor of the cable.
