Abstract

The aerial assembly comprises a conductive tube concentric to one of the stays supporting the mast and is insulated from the wire carrying the load by an insulating sleeve, with a second insulating sleeve protecting the outside of the conductive tube. The sleeves are of the same length of the tube and define a water-tight assembly, to prevent short circuiting of the aereal assembly, in high seas. The assembly is fastened to the stay by an insulating bush at each end.
