Abstract

[Also in Divisions B7, D1, F2 and H2] Submerged electric cables are supported by an assembly CA (Fig. 1) of floating elements 4 and ballast elements 6 located on a flexible core 1 (e.g. by locking elements 5) on successive sections of the core so that when immersed it will take up a catenary form. In the embodiment of Fig. 8, the core of members 1 support a pipe T surrounded by electric cables V, whereas in Fig. 9, the core of members 1 surrounds the electric cables V.
