1321668 Barrel locks N L BERKOWITZ 31 July 1970 37066/70 Heading E2A The tumblers of a plate-type tumbler lock are pressed into the locking position by spring arms which are integral or fixed to the tumbler and which have a curvature equal to that of the barrel housing. In the form shown in Fig. 1 the pressed cylinder 12 rotating in housing 10 and having a cap 14 and an operating cam 16, is secured by bars 20, 20 and carries tumblers 18a, 18b. The tumblers comprise a keyoperated part 34 at 42a,b, and a locking tongue which engages in a slot 56. The spring 32.
