Abstract

1333987 Locks AUG WINKHAUS 18 Jan 1971 [23 Jan 1970] 2271/71 Heading E2A A barrel lock having pin tumblers 3, 19 displaced, in the normal manner against springs 18 by the bitting on the edge of a key 5, is also provided with laterally acting pin tumblers to which engage notches 10 in the cylinder housing to prevent rotation unless matched with suitable recesses, perforations or grooves at 11 in the sides of the key. These lateral pins lie between the main tumblers 19 as shown in Fig. 2. The lateral pins may have separate ball-ends, (Fig. 5, not shown).
