1320669 Preventing corrosion of cooling systems; electrolysing sea water MITSUSBISHI JUKOGYO K K 9 March 1972 [28 May 1971] 11004/72 Headings C7B and C7E Copper or copper alloy parts of a water cooling system are protected by injecting into the water a mixture of chlorine containing water and iron colloid containing water both formed by the electrolysis of sea water. The electrolytic cells for producing the two components may be arranged in series or in parallel.
