Abstract

1320504 Photographic diffusion transfer AGFA-GEVAERT 9 Oct 1970 [27 Oct 1969] 52571/69 Heading G2C A silver salt diffusion transfer process in which the photo-sensitive material contains an amino-carboxylic acid (optionally in the form of a water-soluble salt) in the silver halide emulsion layer and/or in a hydrophilic colloid layer in water-permeable relationship thereto, and processing is effected with an alkaline processing liquid in the presence of a hydroxylamine developing agent. The developing agent may be aliphatic or heterocyclic. The amino acid may contain more than one amino and/or carboxylic acid groups and may additionally contain hydroxy, hydroxyphenyl, cyclohexylene, phospho, sulpho, thiol and/or dichlorohydroxyphenyl substituents. The photo-sensitive material may also contain a 1-aryl-3-pyrazolidone, a di- or poly-amine (which may be monomeric or polymeric and may contain hydroxy, carboxy, siloxane, guanidine ether or thioether linkages), or a morpholine or silamorpholine compound.
