Abstract

1320103 Valves ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 20 May 1971 [27 May 1970] 15942/71 Heading F2V A check valve has a closure member 10 formed with an annular sealing lip which cooperates with a seating surface 5<SP>11</SP> to control flow from an inlet 3 to an outlet 4. The lip which is preferably frusto-conical has a portion about its periphery which is reduced in thickness. This portion may take the shape of a frusto-conical wall sector or segment or may be formed by having eccentric inner and outer conical surfaces. More than one such portion may be formed about the periphery.
