Abstract

131,725. Ferranti, S. Z. de. Aug. 27, 1918. Transformers. - To prevent displacement under short circuit, the sections p, s of the primary and secondary windings of a transformer are interleaved. Helicoidal spring c are placed between primary and secondary sections to allow for expansion and contraction due to variations of temperature. The first primary section is carried by an end abutment a on the yoke b, and the last secondary section s' is carried by the abutment a<1> on the yoke b<1>. Specification 7826/15 is referred to.
