1316932 Planting machine NATIONAL RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT CORP 14 Aug 1970 [4 Sept 1969] 43937/69 Heading AID [Also in Division B8] A machine for planting tubers or the like comprises a metering device 7 for delivering a succession of tubers from a supply hopper 6 to conveyors 8, 12 which feed furrows via coulters 3; the conveyors being so arranged that the potatoes are fed to conveyors 8 and fall from them to conveyors 12. In the embodiment shown the metering device 7, the conveyors 12 and the coulters 3 are as described in Specification 1,175,858.
