Abstract

1316431 Display panels; screens and the like NOYA CONSULTANT DESIGNERS Ltd 17 June 1970 [17 June 1969] 30693/69 Heading G5C Display panel sections 1 are connected together by plastics connectors 2, each of which comprises recesses 13 to receive parts 6 and 7 of the tubular frames 3 of the panel sections. Cross rails 5 of the frames 3 have studs 15 which engage radial holes 14 in the connectors 2 to prevent relative turning or sliding between the connectors and the panel sections. Each frame 3 comprises tubes 8 in which spigots at the free ends of the parts 6 and 7 are clamped by grub screws 10. Wooden panels 4 are secured by plastics clips screwed thereto to the cross rails 5, at front and back of the panel sections. Electric light fittings may be supported in the unoccupied recesses 13 of the connectors 2, and each may comprise a lamp supported by a flexible arm secured to a connector incorporating an electric socket. The connector has a stud which fits the radial hole 14 when the connector is inserted into the recess 13.
