A cabinet unit comprises a number of brass tubular frame members 11a covered with a plastic sheath 11b and releasably connected together with cube shaped plugs 12. The plugs have projecting pins 12b which are held within the tube 11b by protruberances 11c within each tube engaging a peripheral channel 12b<SP>11</SP> in the corresponding pin 12b. To enable the protruberances 11c to enter the channel 12b<SP>11</SP> longitudinal channels 12c are provided on the pins 12b to engage the protruberances. Side panels are nailed within the frame members.
