838,006. Furniture joints. BERNARD, F. J. April 22, 1958, No. 12799/58. Class 52(2) Connectors for use in building up stands, shelving &c. comprise discs 12, 13 connected by screws 17, 18 and spacers 14 and having facing annular grooves 23, 24 wherein nuts 25 are slidably housed. Clips 38, Fig. 5, or sockets 51, Fig. 13, for receiving panels 37 or rods 50 are secured to the connectors by screws passing into the nuts 25 and the discs are apertured to receive uprights 29 to which they are secured by grub screws 26 passing through the nuts. A plurality of connectors can be coupled by screws 56, Fig. 14.
