Shelving &c. is constructed of flat hollow section aluminium alloy members 20 which are interconnected by members having a central body 24 and two or more connecting arms split by cuts 27 and holes 28, the arms entering the hollow members 20 and being expanding to a tight fit by means of conical nuts 29 drawn into holes 28 by screws 32. Shelf panels 37 are supported on brackets 35 which engage grooves 22 in members 20.
