1356092 Furniture screens; separate feet REFLECTOR-HARDWARE CORP 12 May 1972 22390/72 Heading A4U A room divider comprises a number of interconnected panels e.g. 70, wherein the interconnecting means comprises at each end of each panel two pairs of coupling members, e. g. 100, one of each pair adjacent each face, there being an upper pair and a lower pair at each end, the reception pairs being horizontally aligned. In the embodiment shown, said coupling members comprise spigots 100 and sockets 110, allowing panels to be fixed in line, Fig. 7 (not shown), or in a cross, or to be pivotally inter-connected, Figs. 8, 9 (not shown). The coupling members may be on the panel or on tubular end members 90, as shown, fixed to the panel. Edge strips 80 may be set in grooves 79 at the upper and lower panel edges, end-caps 99 in the end members, screwed feet 130 in the lower endcaps, base-plates in the end members Fig. 12, (not shown), and divider end members at the edge of the divider, Figs. 11, 14, (not shown). The tubular end members 90 have edge slots 95 for fixing furnishings, and fixing holes 97, 98.
