Abstract
1316040 Electro-photography FUJI PHOTO FILM CO Ltd 11 Nov 1971 [13 Nov 1970] 52502/71 Heading G2H A liquid developer comprising toner particles dispersed in an insulative carrier liquid contains 0À001-5 parts of a copolymer of a half-C 6-24 alkylamide of maleic acid and diisobutylene together with up to 0À5 parts of a 1-hydroxy-C 2-4 alkyl-2-C 6-22 alkyl-2-imidazoline (as soluble positive charge control agents) per 1000 parts of carrier liquid. The MW of the copolymer may be 1,000-50,000 and the mol ratio of half alkylamide to diisobutylene may be 1:1 to 1:5. The ratio of imidazoline to copolymer may be 0À125-20. A resin-grafted toner may be employed.
