1314074 Hydraulic reciprocating pumps driven by fluid operated motors INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES CORP 12 May 1970 [14 May 1969] 33852/70 Divided out of 1314071 Headings F1A and F1M The gas exhausted from the motor 2 driving a reciprocating pump 3 is expanded in a line 40, thereby to cool the liquid being pumped. The line 40 has cooling vanes 42 and is disposed in the inlet reservoir 43 in which the pump is emersed. After passage through the line 40 the gas enters a silencer 44 having an outlet to atmosphere. The pump and motor are described in Specification 1314075.
