1313649 Hose clips L ROBINSON & CO (GILLINGHAM) Ltd 16 Aug 1971 38365/71 Heading E2B A worm drive hose clip has a metal strip 1 with equally spaced transverse grooves slits or elongated-projections with one end portion attached by deformable lugs to a housing 2 having an elongated part annular wall holding the threaded portion 4 of a worm having a head 5 outside the housing, the worm engaging the grooves, slots or projections when the strip is curved so that the free end portion passes into the housing, and wherein the worm has a circular circumferential groove 6 adjacent one end of the threaded portion, and wherein a portion of that part of the housing wall in alignment with the circular groove is indented to form a projection 8 within the housing which projection engages the circular groove so as to prevent withdrawal of the worm from the housing, the projection being prevented from engaging the thread by a wall
