Hoes.-To enable a hoe to be used either as a Dutch or as an ordinary hoe, the hoe blade a is formed with a forked support a' having an enlargement a<2> of square cross-section adapted to fit in a corresponding socket b secured to a handle c by a spike b<2>. To convert the hoe from one type to the other the forked support is moved laterally until the enlargement is clear of its socket and the hoe blade is then turned to the new position prior to replacing the enlargement in its socket. The enlargement and the socket, which are tapered to give a good frictional grip, may be formed of any desired polygonal cross-section
