Abstract

1310622 Folding caravan TRIGANO VACANCES 10 Dec 1970 [25 May 1970 31 July 1970] 58749/70 Heading B7B A folding caravan comprises a trailer body 4 having hinged lids 7 and 8, which when opened out, form a tent-like structure supported by U- shaped ribs 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16. The inner ends of rib 12 are hinged on sockets 18 slidable on the rib 13, hinged to the body 4 at 19. An arm 20 carries a pulley 21 over which a cable 27 passes, one end of the cable 27 being fixed to the body frame 1 and the other end to the rib 14. Coupling between the ribs 15 and 16 is obtained by another set of cables 31, while a cable 35 is fixed to the lid 8 and rib 16. In another embodiment, Fig. 8 (not shown) lids (7) and (8) open transversely instead of longitudinally.
