1308611 Rotary conveyers ABRASIVE DEVELOPMENTS Ltd 10 April 1970 [11 Jan 1969] 1779/69 Heading B8A [Also in Division B3] A collection device for use with a blasting booth comprises paddles 22-25 synchronously rotated by a toothed belt 47 (one only shown) and mounted below a perforate floor 10 consisting of strips 18 and rods 19. One of four hollow frame members 14 has apertures 52 and is connected to a vacuum duct 50. In operation, particulate material which accumulates on a base 12 is moved by the paddles towards, and drawn through, the apertures 52. The material then passes to a separator from which the reusable abrasive is returned to the blast gun. The booth is mounted on angle members 16, 17 which have members 20 to direct the material into the collecting device. The device may be used with other than blasting booths.
