Abstract

1308435 Travelling wave-shedding looms VYZKUMNY USTAV BAVLNARSKY 21 April 1971 [28 April 1970] 10329/71 Heading DIE In a travelling wave-shedding loom wherein the weft is wound in the shuttle, the winding head is provided with a thread clamp comprising a body 1 in which slides a member 3 having thread clamping jaws 11 which are loaded by a spring 15 so that, as the jaws 11 slide down the body 11, bearing surfaces 18 leave the guide groove 7 and the spring 15 closes the jaws 11, the guide groove 7 having therein a leaf spring which bears against the jaws and has a protruding tongue 23 which cooperates with notches 24 in the jaws so that, during the downward movement of the jaws in relation to the tongue 23, the notches 24 enable the jaws to gradually close on the weft.
